Easter is a favourite holiday around here – who couldn’t love it?! Easter egg hunts, family holidays and those cute little bunnies. I’ve mentioned before I’ve never really been much of a holiday decorator {apart from Christmas}, but now that the girls are here it seems so much fun to pretty things up for our special holidays.
I’m excited to share with you a new tutorial and free quilt pattern just perfect for Easter decorating. Each bunny is machine appliqued with a fusible webbing method, however you could absolutely hand applique and embroider each motif. Add one motif, or more – just make it your own {as I always say!}. I’m also thinking cute little baby quilts or the motif on an Easter onesie! – Oh the options people!! 😉
The fabrics in this quilt are gorgeous, and have that beautiful Spring-like feel to them. Another gorgeous collection, Calico Days by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. These prints are from the Fat Eighth panels – I just love the cornflour blue and pinks in this line – perfect!
