I’m so excited to share this week’s stash report with you all {it’s a goodie}!
I’m seriously crushing this fabric – have done since it first arrived on the market. Garden Party Tango by Iza Pearl Design for Windham Fabrics. The florals and navy prints in this line are to die for, complemented beautifully by the corals and rich plum colours. I am happy about cutting into this one – it’d been set to use for blocks in a summer Swoon quilt. My first Swoon quilt. Yep you read that right, first {sometimes I think I’m the only one who hasn’t made a Swoon quilt!}.
Seems I’m not though, and there are a bunch of us going to #swoonalong2015 over on Instagram – so this bundle of beautiful-ness will soon become blocks for my summer Swoon and the perfect end to our master bed {been doing a bit of a bedroom makeover on the side!}. Why don’t you join us?! You can purchase your Swoon pattern here or… Camille Roskelley’s Pre-Cut Piecing Made Simple class on Craftsy is awesome value for money and you can sew a Swoon quilt along with her. On your computer, or iPad in this case {note: affiliate link included}.
Bundles and yardage of Garden Party Tango can still be purchased here {Fat Quarter Shop} or here {Hawthorne Threads}. A search will bring up more results also.
Have you sewn a Swoon quilt? What fabrics did you Swoon with?!

p.s. Linking up with Molli and loads of other lovelies over here!
I swooned with Joel Dewberry……I was obsessed whilst making it and I think it only took me a couple of weeks…..it’s the first quilt I sent away to be quilted, because I could see my back breaking! I’m not sure if you have a longarm machine, but if you wanted to send it somewhere, I think Jeanette still does a good deal for Swoon quilts. I saw her advertising the deal on a Swoon Flickr group 🙂 Here’s her website if you want it! http://www.thequiltingplatypus.com/ ps. Your Swoon will be divine!
Oh I can’t wait to see your Swoon. It’s such a fun quilt to make and since the blocks are so big, you only need nine and before you know it you’re finished. I also sent my Swoon away to be quilted for the first time because of the size and I love the results.
I’m just starting my second one and I’m so excited
I don’t think I’ve seen that bundle before but I bet it will make a gorgeous Swoon. I made a giant swoon as a Christmas quilt back in November, totally from stash (aside from the backing) and scrappy but already well loved!
That will be a great looking Swoon! I have made 1 Swoon block (although it seemed like a giant one) out of Halloween fabric. So fun!
