Thankyou for the response from my latest pattern release American Honey – I love what I do, and I love being able to share it with you all {even though its maybe not as often as I plan or hope to!}.
This post should be a picture post more than anything, with details of the second quilt that I made {or rather the first!} using my American Honey pattern. This quilt was donated to our local race-day charity luncheon committee to be raffled off during our spring race day. The proceeds of the raffle of this quilt {and some other amazing prizes} were jointly shared between RACQ CareFlight and local Ovarian Cancer support groups {two charities very close to the hearts of so many in our little community}.
I was thrilled to be able to be involved in such a wonderful opportunity, and am happy to report the winner of this quilt is thrilled with it. Made using fabrics from my stash in jewel tones, and omitting four blocks to make a smaller lap quilt size. This pattern really is so versatile, and with the blocks finishing at 17.5″ square, most quilt sizes can be achieved by adding or deleting blocks. I would love to make this in a 3×3 baby quilt {perhaps for my new arrival?!}.
Just a quick reminder also, that I am offering a 30% discount using the code HONEY from now until the end of November for patterns purchased through my etsy store {patterns retail at full price of $8.95 AUD}.
Again, thankyou for the overwhelming response – may you love your American Honey quilt as much as I do!
